HumbleTHQBundle

The Humble Bundle is a wonderful way of both publicizing lesser known games and gather money for Charity, the American Red Cross & Child's Play in this case. Humble Bundle have been known to bring out games from developers that weren't that well known, but games that really needed showcasing. Basically it is a collection of pre-selected games that are put up for sale. The price is "whatever you pay" with a minimum of $1. The "price", rather donation, is split 3-ways, by default, to the publishers, the charity and the HumbleBunlde, as a "humble tip". Though you can customize the donation any way you see fit and can even give the entire amount to anyone recipient. Generally the games have something extras, like Soundtracks in both FLAC and MP3 format for you to download, without any limit. Another feature is that some of the juicier games are locked and becomes unlocked once you pay above the average of the package price, which is calculated by the total payments/total purchases, which is generally waaaaaay lower than the combined prices of all the games.

This time however, strangely, a heavy hitter comes up: THQ, with Eight of their smash hit games (yeah you read that right, it's EIGHT!!!) The games include gems such as RTS Company of Heroes, it's two expansion Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor, along with survival FPS Metro 2033, TPS Red Faction Armageddon and Hack-n-Slash galore DarkSiders. Along with that, if you pay above the current average of $5.63 (at the time of writing) you unlock RPG Titan Quest, hilarious GTA style open-world Saints Row The Third and Red Faction Armageddon DLC Path to War. In addition to these you get the soundtracks of Saints Row The Third, DarkSiders, Red Faction Armageddon and 2 from Company of Heroes, as long as your contribution is above $1. It's so unbelievable that it's almost a steal! There is no limit to how much you want to contribute. And the icing on the cake is that all the game unlocks on Valve's excellent online distribution platform Steam! Payment can be done through PayPal, Amazon Payments and Google Wallets. Plus all major Credit Cards are accepted too.

The sale's still good for 3 and a half days (at the time of writing), so go grab your copies soon! Things like this happen only once in a blue moon! (And if you can contribute something to charity too.)
